UFC 132 medical report and suspension list

Fourteen out of 22 fighters who competed at UFC 132 this past Saturday, July 2, in Las Vegas find themselves listed on the Nevada State Athletic Commission’s medical suspension list.

ProMMAnow.com (www.prommanow.com) received the following report Tuesday afternoon:

• UFC bantamweight champ Dominick Cruz must have right hand x-rayed; if positive then must be cleared by an orthopedic doctor or no contest until 12/30/11.
• Urijah Faber must have right hand/wrist, right shoulder and chest x-rayed; if positive then must be cleared by orthopedic doctor or no contest until 12/30/11; minimum suspension no contest until 08/17/11, no contact until 08/02/11.
• Wanderlei Silva is suspended until 09/01/11; with no contact until 08/17/11.
• Dennis Siver is suspended until 08/17/11; with no contact until 08/02/11 due to forehead lacerations.
• Ryan Bader is suspended until 07/24/11; with no contact until 07/17/11.
• Dong Hyun Kim must have right orbital fracture cleared by an ENT (ear, nose and throat doctor) or ophthalmologist, or no contest until 12/30/11; minimum suspension until 09/01/11 with no contact until 08/17/11.
• Shane Roller must have right orbital fracture cleared by an ENT (ear, nose and throat doctor) or ophthalmologist, or no contest until 12/30/11; minimum suspension no contest until 09/01/11 with no contact until 08/17/11.
• Melvin Guillard suspended until 07/24/11 with no contact until 07/17/11 due to a cut under his right eye.
• George Sotiropoulos suspended until 09/01/11 with no contact until 08/17/11.
• Brian Bowles must have right hand X-rayed; if positive needs clearance by an orthopedic doctor, or no contest until 12/30/11; minimum suspension no contest until 08/02/11 with no contact until 07/24/11.
• Brad Tavares suspended until 08/02/11 with no contact until 07/24/11 due to left eyebrow laceration.
• Andre Winner suspended until 08/02/11 with no contact until 07/24/11 due to facial bruising.
• Anthony Njokuani must have contusion on left lower leg cleared by doctor, or no contest until 12/30/11; also has a chipped right lower tooth.
• Donny Walker suspended until 08/02/11 with no contact until 07/24/11 due to right eyebrow laceration.
