TUF 7 and Strikeforce veteran, Jeremiah “Big Rigg” Riggs has a big personality and loves to entertain the fans. The Mississippi native has a nice win streak going right now and picked up another one Saturday night with a majority decision victory over Eric Slocum (30-26, 30-26, 28-28) in a middleweight bout at “SportFight X: Middle Tennessee Mayhem” in Murfreesboro, Tenn.

The H.I.T. Squad fighter talks to ProMMAnow.com‘s (www.prommanow.com) Joshua Cross about the fight with Slocum, how he felt about Slocum missing weight by five pounds, what the future may hold and his thoughts on  possibly even doing some pro wrestling. He definitely has the personality for pro wrestling, and to quote Riggs, “If you don’t know who I am, ask your old lady, she’ll tell you.”

  1. this guy is a JOKE in every way. he almost got beat by a fat 1-7 fighter. riggs better go to wrestling because hes not a fighter.

  2. He definitely is no joke. Two judges scored the fight in favor of Riggs 30-26, so I think that shows that he didn’t “almost get beat by a fat 1-7 fighter.” Plus he is now on a 5 fight win streak with wins in Strikeforce and Bellator, so he definitely is a fighter, and a pretty good one at that.

  3. Riggs is no joke and takes his fighting serious. For Eric Slocum to come in there to fight Riggs and joke about being over weight and telling the crown he eats what he wants to eat is a DISGRACE and should be ashamed of himself for being a professional fighter. That fat boy Eric Slocum has a lot to learn and I will say you wont see his name on big fight card any day soon. mark my word! Way to go Riggs! way to teach that kid a lesson.
