Sean Shamrock delivers a head kick to Lucas Goulet in his professional Mixed Martial Arts debut.

Sean Shamrock, the son of MMA legend and UFC Hall of Famer Ken Shamrock, made his professional MMA debut this past Saturday night at the Shooting Star Casino in Mahnomen, Minn., to a King of the Cage sold out crowd.

As the fight went to the ground early on, it could have very well been his father in there as the young Shamrock locked on a reverse ankle lock and apparently snapped the ankle of his opponent, Lucas Goulet.

The game Goulet would not tap, and got back to his feet. Following directions from his father who shouted, “Step out head kick,” Sean planted one to the side of Goulet’s head scoring a knock out at 1:56 of the first round.

King of the Cage execs were excited to have Sean debut for them and are looking forward to having Ken’s other two boys, Ryan 21 and Sean 17, fight at future KOTC events.

Sean trains with his Father and brothers at the Lion’s Den located in Reno, Nev., and actually took the fight on less than two weeks notice to fill in for his injured brother Ryan.
