It’s what the whole MMA world has waited for and what guys all over the nation have envisioned in their minds ever since the buxom brunette made her first appearance in the ring back in 2006. Yes, Gina Carano got naked. After tipping the scales at 142.75 lbs., Carano disrobed hoping the shorts and miniskirt she was wearing would bring her weight down to the negotiated fighting weight of 140 lbs. On her third attempt at the scales, the lack of clothes brought Carano’s weight down to 141 lbs. which was acceptable and also the same weight her opponent, Kelly Kobold weighed in at. One pound over the weight limit is allowed as long as it is not a title fight.
Ken Shamrock barely makes the heavyweight division as he stepped on the scales at 206.5 lbs. Kimbo will have a decisive weight advantage over the “World’s Most Dangerous Man” at 234.5 lbs. It seems practically a guarantee these days there will be some type of drama or altercation at the EliteXC events when Kimbo Slice is present. The funny thing is, it isn’t slice starting the drama. In this case it was Ken Shamrock giving Slice a shove when the former street fighter turned his back to Shamrock to walk away after posing for pictures. Shamrock shouted, “Don’t turn your back on me” as he pushed the beared one. I’m starting to think these little scenes EliteXC always seem to have are staged.
