The UFC inducts a new person into the UFC Hall of Fame during the UFC Fan Expo that they have started to have each year. This year the UFC decided to induct the first ever UFC welterweight champion Pat Miletich, joining Royce Gracie, Ken Shamrock, Dan Severn, “Mask”, Mark Coleman, Randy Couture, Chuck Liddell, Matt Hughes, Forrest Griffin, Stephan Bonnar, and Tito Ortiz.

Miletich has a career record of (29-7-2) and was (8-2) inside the UFC promotion. However, Miletich went on to create one of the early dominant fight teams in Miletech Fighting Systems out of Bettendorf, Iowa. He trained the likes of Matt Hughes, Jens Pulver, Tim Sylvia, and Robbie Lawler. Check out Miletich’s Hall of Fame induction speech below(fast forward to 10:15 mark):
