The UFC on FOX 5 event that’s slated for December 8th in Seattle, Washington, has added three more bouts according to UFC officials. A featherweight bout between Dennis Siver and Eddie Yagin, a lightweight bout between TUF winner Mike Chiesa and Rafaello Oliveira, and a bantamweight bout between Scott Jorgensen and John Albert all have verbal agreements.
The UFC on FOX 5 event will be headlined by the UFC lightweight title fight between Ben Henderson and Nate Diaz, and will take place at the Key Arena.
Dennis Siver (20-8) is coming off a unanimous decision win over Diego Nunes in his last outing in April which was his featherweight debut. He’s won five out of his last six bouts. He’ll be taking on Eddie Yagin who is coming off an upset win via split decision against Mark Hominick at UFC 145. This bout was originally scheduled to take place at the now cancelled UFC 151.
TUF winner Michael Chiesa (8-0) will be getting his first test since winning the reality show in the form of Rafaello Oliveira. Chiesa defeated Al Iaquinta via rear naked choke and will be looking to keep his undefeated streak intact. Oliveira (15-5) is coming off a unanimous decision win over Yoislandy Izquierdo at UFC 148 after dropping back-to-back losses in his first two UFC fights.
Scott Jorgensen (13-6) is coming off back-to-back losses for the first time in his career. Jorgensen will be looking to get back on track against John Albert (7-3) who is also coming off back-to-back losses, last competing at the TUF Live Finale in June.
The UFC on FOX 5 will be the fourth FOX event of 2012 with preliminary bouts airing on FX and potentially Facebook. You can view the tentative fight card below:
