Xtreme Fighting Championships returns to Nashville, Tenn., next week with “XFC 18: Music City Mayhem” featuring John Salter vs. Reggie Pena in the main event. XFC President and Founder John Prisco was a guest Friday morning on 102.5 FM’s (Nashville Sports Radio) 1st Quarter MMA segment to discuss the fight card and let everyone know why they should come out and watch the fights.

In addition to breaking down the XFC 18 card, Prisco talked about the tour of Tennessee the XFC has been on this year and revealed plans to keep returning to the “Volunteer State” at least twice a year moving forward. Although based in Florida, Prisco said Tennessee is much like a second home for the promotion.

Prisco also discussed the XFC’s relationship with HDNet, when fans can expect to see Felice Herrig back in the XFC cage, and much more. XFC 18 will air live Friday, June 22, at 10 p.m. ET on HDNet. Fans can follow the XFC on Twitter at @OfficialXFC and Mr. Prisco on Twitter at @JohnXFC.
