Well it’s over. Chuck Liddell has been cut from Dancing with the Stars. Tuesday night on ABC’s hit television show it was announced one-by-one which couples had received enough votes and would continue in the competition.

Kelly Osbourne was safe, Snowboarder Louie Vito was safe, Donny Osmond was safe, football legend Michael Irvin and even the very odd Aaron Carter were safe. However, “The Iceman” along with dance partner Anna Trebunskaya were notified just minutes before the end of the show that they received the least amount of votes and would not be allowed to continued.

In his closing comments, Liddell stated he got his nickname “The Iceman” for never getting nervous before fights, but admitted he got nervous before every dance. Whatever your thoughts about the show, the fact that Liddell was a part of it is indicative of how far the sport has come.

At the very least, Liddell got himself in great shape, and probably learned quite a few techniques that can help him with his footwork and balance if he chooses to fight again. And frankly, he did better and made it further than many people thought he would.

If you missed any of “The Iceman’s” performances on Dancing with the Stars here they are:

Round 1
Round 2
Round 3
Round 4
