XFC 27 ‘Frozen Fury’ weigh-in results

It looks like it was a rough night for some of the fighters in Muskegon, Michigan. All fighters took to the scales ahead of tomorrow night’s XFC 27 event and it appears weight was an issue. Several fighters came in off the mark by several pounds. Sources close to the situation said the positioning of the scale played a part as well as some of Michigan’s rules as to weight allowance. We learned that as long as you are within 5 pounds of your opponent’s weight the fight will still be approved.

Welterweights Dom Steele and Ryan Thomas kick off XFC 27 main card in Michigan

The XFC will crank the heat up in the L.C. Walker Arena, when they kick off Frozen Fury with a Welterweight showdown between Dominique Steel and Ryan Thomas. The Steele/Thomas match-up kicks off the televised portion of XFC 27: Frozen Fury, LIVE on AXS TV from Muskegon, Michigan. “The Tank Engine” Thomas looks to add to his current five fight win streak, while his opponent, Dom Steele, looks to raise his MMA stock with a win over the talented and dangerous XFC standout.

December 13, 2013 will mark the traveling promotions first trip to the Northern U.S., when XFC 27: Frozen Fury invades Muskegon, Michigan.
