If all goes as planned, then “Shine Fights 3: 2010 Lightweight Grand Prix” will take place this evening at First Council Casino in Newkirk, Okla. Eight fighters will compete in a one night lightweight grand prix.

Tonight, Shine Fights will try for the second time to host their third show. The card features an eight-man one-night tournament in the lightweight division. UFC, WEC and Pride FC veterans will all vie for the tournament title. The event will take place at the First Council Casino in Newkirk, Okla and the card will be broadcast on pay per view.

UFC vet Shannon Gugerty to replace Marcus Aurelio in Shine Fights tournament

After sustaining an injury while training for this weekend’s Shine Fights Lightweight Grand Prix, Marcus Aurelio has been forced to vacate his spot in the tourney.

“UWC 7: Redemption” will be available in live online pay-per-view this Saturday, Oct. 3

This Saturday, Oct. 3, 2009, Ultimate Warrior Challenge brings “UWC 7: REDEMPTION” to the Patriot Center in Fairfax, Va. Headlining the card will be a UWC Bantamweight Championship between Mike Easton and Chase Beebe. In the  co-main event, Pat Runez will take on John Dodson for the UWC Flyweight Title.

The Ultimate Warrior Challenge is known for putting on one of the best shows in the country and now you don’t even have to be in Virginia to witness the action. This Saturday beginning at 6:30 p.m. ET , “UWC 7: REDEMPTION” will be available* via a live online pay-per-view at www.uwcmma.com. Mike Easton crowned UWC Bantamweight Champion at Man ‘O’ War – full results

Mike Easton is the UWC Bantamweight Champ

PRO MMA (promma.info) was on hand live at the Patriot Center in Fairfax, Virginia Saturday night to cover ULTIMATE WARRIOR CHALLENGE: MAN ‘O’ WAR. With a total of nine fights in all, including a UWC Bantamweight Title Fight and a highly anticipated female MMA bout, it was full night of high level mixed martial arts action. 

Mike Easton vs. Justin Robbins – UWC Bantamweight Title Fight
It was not against his original opponent, but Mike Easton still had little trouble troubling handling HIT Squad fighter Justin Robbins. The two fighters cautiously traded leg kicks for two rounds, before they ended up on the ground in the third. Once off the ground, with Easton in guard, Robbins tried to sweep but got caught in a tight guillotine choke. Robbins tapped and the fight was stopped at the 4:44 mark of the third round.
