Star Wars hits the $1B mark globally smashing records

Star Wars: The Force Awakens whizzed past the $1 billion mark at the global box office this weekend it beat out Jurassic World made $1 billion in 13 days earlier this year, while Star Wars managed it in 12. According to Deadline, the film’s official take is at $544.57M domestic and $546M international, totalling an incredible $1.1B!
