The 2013 year has officially come to a close with the UFC 168 event that took place on Saturday night in Las Vegas, Nevada. It has been an incredible year with great fights, some surprises, and the end of a couple of era’s in MMA. I wrote a piece in early January 2013 posing five huge questions going into the year. I’ll do the same with 2014 in a couple of days. However, I wanted to revisit those five questions and provide some insight and answers to those questions.

Today, we have for you a one-on-one interview with longtime MMA veteran and Fight Master winner Joe Riggs, who took home $100,000 with his unanimous decision win over Mike Bronzoulis Saturday night at Bellator 106. Thankfully for “Wolfman” he was not injured during the taping of this interview.
It is fight week for the ladies of Invicta Fighting Championships and to kick off the program we will discuss this Saturday’s card that goes down in Kansas City. Marloes Coenen will look to avenge a loss to Cris Cyborg in the main event on the evening for the promotions inaugual featherweight title. The card is chalked full of rising stars and for the first time the all women’s event will be available live on pay per view as well as on Ustream.

The Bellator MMA promotion will finally launch their MMA based reality show entitled “Fight Master: Bellator MMA” which will premiere this summer on Spike TV. Randy Couture, Greg Jackson, Frank Shamrock, and Joe Warren will helm four separate fight camps for 32 up-and-coming fighters looking to fight their way into the Bellator tournament and a $100,000 cash prize.
