Original Ultimate Fighter contestant, Sam “The Alaskan Assassin” Hoger (8-4) went up against the ultra-experienced Clarksville, Tennessee fighter, Johnathan “Big” Ivey (26-36) at URBAN RUMBLE CHAMPIONSHIP 3 in Pasadena, Texas on Saturday January 24th.

Hoger, who should most likely be fighting at light-heavyweight, gave up at least forty-five pounds in this five round URC Heavyweight Title Fight. Despite the weight difference and Ivey’s infamous pro wrestling style “elbow-drop” in his arsenal, Hoger was able to submit “Big” Ivey thirty-five seconds into round three.

Also on the card was Lightweight Champion, Warren “Baby Dynamite” Stewart (3-8) taking on Vince Libardi (7-4). Libardi won by unanimous decision. All three judges scored the bout 30-27.
