The World Series of Fighting 3 event will take place on Friday, June 14, and will be headlined by a welterweight clash between MMA veterans Jon Fitch and Josh Burkman in the main event.
The event will culminate from the Hard Rock Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada, and will air on NBC Sports.
The two fighters first fought back at in 2006 at the UFC Ultimate Fight Night 4 event in which Fitch defeated Burkman via second round submission. Fitch went on to challenge for the UFC welterweight title, losing to Georges St. Pierre, with Burkman eventually being released from the UFC two year later. However, Burkman has gone (7-1) since being released, including three consecutive wins in the World of Series Fighting promotion.
