After Jon Jones sent Daniel Cormier packing at UFC 214 and regained his light heavyweight championship he did something no one expected. He took the mic and did his best Chael Sonnen impression by calling out “The Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar.

Lesnar. If you want to find out what it’s like to get your ass kicked by a guy who weighs 40 lbs less than you, meet me here in the octagon.

Lesnar’s “advocate” Paul Heyman responding might have taken ten minutes on saying “Buuuuhhhh-Raawwwkkk LLLLLessssss-nerrrrrr” alone, but thankfully that didn’t happen. Brock himself answered with a simple one liner that quickly went viral.

Be careful what you wish for young man.

Last night at WWE SummerSlam we were treated to a 4.5/5 star barn burner of a main event. Samoa Joe vs. Braun Strowman vs. Roman Reigns vs. Universal Champ Brock Lesnar put on a clinic that saw Lesnar retain. Heyman had been dropping subtle hints in his promos leading up to the match that if Lesnar lost the bout he would be leaving the company. Most, if not all UFC insiders agreed that with Brock unable to compete until sometime in 2018 he was going to come out on the winning end of last night’s WWE event. It happened and that was that.

WWE has plans for Brock that reportedly include him dropping the title to – Roman Reigns. *Shudder* This would make it the 4th Wrestlemania in a row that fans will have to sit through a Vince McMahon Reigns based marketing middle finger. We can take comfort in the fact that it will at least include Lesnar and that we will probably see a date and venue for Brock vs. Jones shortly after Wrestlemania is over.
