Sanders picked him apart on the feet then submitted the Venezuelan with a rear-naked choke at 3:38 of round one. To top it off Sanders took the fight on short notice and up a weight class. “Cool Hand” was amply rewarded for the submission win and received a $50,000 “Performance of the Night” bonus for his efforts.
