Bellator 141 goes down tonight from Pechanga Resort and Casino in Temecula, Calif., and is headlined with a lightweight match-up between Melvin Guillard and Brandon Girtz. Former TUF 10 contestant Justin Wren makes his return to MMA after spending years fighting for the forgotten Pygmy tribes of the Congo. And female MMA veteran Marloes Coenen makes her return to Bellator for the first time this year.
The main card will broadcast live on Spike TV at 9 p.m. ET, with prelims streaming live on Spike.com starting at 7:45 p.m. ET. PMN will provide live results of all the action as well as round-by-round updates of the main card.

Marloes Coenen vs. Arlene Blencowe
Round 1 – Coenen with an early takedown into side mount. Coenen takes her back but is unable to finish.
Round 2 – After an exchange Coenen drags Blencowe down, has her back, misses an armbar. Back on the feet, Coenen misses a judo throw and ends up on her back. After taking some shots Coenen scores a takedown, goes for an armbar and appears to snap it and the fight is stopped.

Justin Wren vs. Josh Burns
Round 1 – Wren takes a couple hard punches before clinching up. Knees from Wren against the cage. More knees. Ref separates them after a stall. Body shot from Wren. Couple nice rights from Wren wobble Burns. He pushes him to the cage, knees from Wren. Body shots. Wearing the more muscular fighter down. Another knee to the head from Wren. Body shot. Back to the center. Wren shoots, stuffed, lands a right. Leg kick Burns. 10-9 Wren.
Round 2 – Big guys pacing themselves. Both landing some decent shots on the feet after a brief grappling exchange. Thai clinch and knee to the face wobbles Burns and he stumbles backward. Wren goes for the kill and lands some huge shots that bust him up. Burns won’t go down though and it’s back to the center. Wren touches him up with some jabs and a straight left and more knees as Wren continues the punishment. Burns lands a couple good punches before the bell. 10-9 Wren.
Round 3 – Burns is a tough bastard. Nice leg kick from Wren. After some clinch fighting Wren lands another knee to the face, some solid punches. Burns stands tough. Has a hell of a chin. Burns stuns Wren during an exchange at the end. Wren 10-9.

Patricky Freire vs. Saad Awad
Round 1 – Pretty close round on the feet. Nothing too significant from either guy.
Round 2 – Patricky getting off with some strikes. Awad scores with a punch but gets taken down. He makes it back up and avoids a takedown before the bell. Not too much going on.
Round 3 – Some decent standup but neither landing anything too significant. Patricky with a takedown attempt at the bell.

Melvin Guillard vs. Brandon Girtz
Round 1 – Girtz hurts Melvin with a punch early then takes him down. Melvin gets up but gets dumped on his back again. Girtz in side mount landing knees to the body. He keeps Guillard there the rest of the round. 10-9 Girtz.
Round 2 – After an exchange Girtz comes in with a big powerful takedown. Girtz goes for an armbar but Guillard escapes to his feet. Melvin gets clipped with a counter right hook coming in. He lands a right hook of his own that stuns Girtz, but he then takes Melvin down with under a minute to go. Melvin gets back to his feet. Nice exchange before the bell. 10-9 Girtz.
Round 3 – Girtz with an early takedown. Ref stands them up with about 90 seconds to go. Melvin looking for the finish. He hurts him with a punch and a knee. One minute to go. Left hook and knee from Melvin. Girtz gets a body lock, a failed throw from Melvin lands him on his back with Girtz finishing the round on top.
