UFC President Dana White set the Twitter web on fire just now with the announcement that UFC welterweights Robbie Lawler and Matt Brown have agreed to headline the UFC on FOX 12 event on July 26:

The winner gets the next shot at the title according to White. Lawler (23-10, 1NC) is coming off a huge TKO win over Jake Ellenberger this past Saturday at UFC 173. It was his first fight since losing to Johny Hendricks for the vacant UFC welterweight title at UFC 171. This will be Lawler’s fourth fight in about a six month span. The event will take place in San Jose at the SAP Center.

Brown (19-11) is coming off a TKO win over Erick Silva in the UFC Fight Night 40 main event. Brown has rattled off seven straight wins, and has finished six of those opponents via TKO.

This will be a tremendous fight as both fighters come straight forward and go for the finish every time they fight.
