BluegrassMMA
We are creeping closer to 200 episodes of BluegrassMMA Live as tonight number 170 will delve into the weekend’s big events in our area. Warrior FC and NAAFS will both be in action in the Ohio Valley with big fight cards. Tonight’s episode as always is sponsored by Bangtown Fightwear and we have six guests to chat with.

Warrior FC was a powerhouse in Kentucky several years ago and they will make their return Saturday night in Corbin. “Rise of the Pheonix” will take place at the Corbin Civic Center and now features 12 fights. Originally on the card was James Douglas of Four Seasons in Lexington. He has been a part of the MMA scene for many years and is not only a fighter but an excellent cornerman. He will stop by to chat along with main event fighter Scott Hope. Hope will look to bounce back from a tough loss to Jon Cook in Somerset. Closing out the first hour will be Jimbo Collins to talk about the promotion and their return.

NAAFS Combat Challenge has been a breeding ground for future stars in Ohio and beyond. They return to Akron, Ohio this Saturday with a big lineup for the 27th installment. Joining us from the card will be amateur fighters sh Rohler, Cheney Matterese and Nicole Usko. We will talk to them and look over the card in the second hour.
