UFC officials have announced two additional bouts for the upcoming UFC Fight Night 42 event that’s set for June 7 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Two former UFC flyweight title contenders will meet when John Dodson takes on John Moraga. Also, a bantamweight bout between Sergio Pettis and Yaotzin Meza has been added to the card.

The event will take place at the Tingley Coliseum and will be headlined by a lightweight bout between Ben Henderson and Rustam Khabilov.

Dodson (15-6) is coming off a KO win over Darrell Montague in his last outing at UFC 166. It was a nice rebound win coming off his lone UFC loss against UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson. Dodson is (4-1) in the UFC and trains out of Jackson’s Fight Camp which calls Albuquerque home.

Moraga (14-2) is coming off a split decision win over Dustin Ortiz in his last outing at UFC Fight Night 35. Moraga’s lone UFC loss also came against Demetrious Johnson, but holds a UFC record of (3-1).

Pettis (10-1) is coming off his first career loss, an upset third round submission loss to TUF alum Alex Caceres. Pettis is the younger brother of UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis.

Meza (20-9) is coming off unanimous decision loss against Chico Camus in his last outing. Meza is (1-2) inside the UFC and probably needs a win to keep his spot on the UFC roster.
