Ian McCall has been pulled from the event with a broken hand and will be replaced by John Dodson.Dodson (15-6) is coming off a “Knockout of the Night” performance in his last outing against UFC newcomer Darrell Montague at UFC 166. It was a nice rebound win coming off his unanimous decision loss in his champion bid against Demetrious Johnson.

Jorgensen (14-7) is coming off a fourth round submission loss to Urijah Faber in his last outing at the TUF 17 Finale in April. Jorgensen is (1-3) in his last four bouts, with all three losses coming against top 10 fighters. He’ll have the number two flyweight in the world in Dodson and the opportunity to score a huge win for his career.

The UFC on FOX 9 event is set to take place on December 14 at the Sleep Train Arena in Sacramento, California. The event will be headlined by the UFC lightweight title fight between champion Anthony “Showtime” Pettis and Josh Thomson.
