UFC on FOX Sports 1-2The UFC Fight Night 27 event will be headlined by the welterweight rematch between former UFC interim champion Carlos Condit (28-7) and Martin Kampmann (20-6). Kampmann defeated Condit during Condit’s UFC debut in 2009 via controversial split decision in what was an incredible fight.

The co-main event will feature a lightweight bout between Donald Cerrone and Rafael dos Anjos.

Cerrone (20-5, 1NC) is coming off a unanimous decision win over KJ Noons at UFC 160. It was a nice rebound win for Cerrone after suffering the first round TKO loss to Anthony Pettis earlier this year. Cerrone has won three of his last four, but will be taking on a fighter that’s been on fire as of late in dos Anjos.

Dos Anjos (19-6) is coming off a unanimous decision win over Evan Dunham at the UFC on FX show in May. He has reeled off four consecutive wins since 2012 and will be looking to add a huge feather in his cap with a win over the “Cowboy”.

The UFC Fight Night 27 event will take place on August 28 at the Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. The main card will air on the UFC on FOX Sports 1 channel at 8 p.m. ET. The preliminary bouts will begin on Facebook at 4:30 p.m. ET, and then transition over the FOX Sports 1 at 6 p.m. ET.

  1. I dunno…think the ‘wars’ are starting to catch up with Kampmann…and Condit has improved more IMO since their last fight that Condit arguably won
