[ads1]UFC on FOXUFC officials have announced that the promotion will return to Seattle, Washington, on July 27 for an event that will take place at the KeyArena. The event will air LIVE on FOX, and would be the eighth FOX show with UFC on FOX 7 taking place in April.

The UFC last held an event in Seattle with the UFC on FOX 5 card that was headlined by UFC lightweight champion Ben Henderson who is a Seattle native. The UFC first went to the KeyArena in Seattle with the UFC Fight Night 24 event that was headlined by the light heavyweight bout between Phil Davis and Antonio Rogerio Nogueira in March 2011. Both of the past events have been sellouts, and there are multiple reports that UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson wants to return from his current injury and defend his title against John Moraga.

Johnson was scheduled to headline the TUF 17 Finale in April against Moraga, but was forced to withdraw from the bout due to a torn labrum that required surgery. Of course, Johnson headlined the UFC on FOX 6 event in January which was the first time flyweights were featured in the main event on FOX. The event drew over five million viewers with Johnson successfully defending his flyweight title against John Dodson in a very exciting bout.

Fights and ticket information are set to be announced for the event in the coming weeks.
