Yushin Okami wants Michael Bisping next after victory over Lombard

Yushin Okami (29-7) continued to be the ultimate gatekeeper at the UFC on FUEL TV 8 event that took place Japan on Saturday night winning his third consecutive fight since losing against Tim Boetsch a year ago. That fight took place in Japan as well.

Okami used his wrestling and grappling to negate the explosive Hector Lombard (32-4-1, 1NC), winning a split decision to derail Lombard from getting closer to a title shot with Anderson Silva. However, the fight should have been unanimous as Okami clearly won the first two rounds before Lombard came on strong in the final round.

When asked who he wanted to face next, Okami called out Michael Bisping in a post-fight interview on FUEL TV that can be seen below:

Of course Bisping will be facing Alan Belcher at UFC 159 in April. Okami defeated Belcher in his last outing at UFC 155 in December. It was the second time Belcher had lost a decision to Okami, including their first matchup at UFC 62 in 2006.
