michael_bisping_prommanow.comThe UFC 159 co-main event has been set and will feature a middleweight bout between Michael Bisping and Alan Belcher. The two have a past history of trash talk and will finally be able to settle it inside the octagon.

The news was first reported by ESPN.

UFC 159 will be headlined by the UFC light heavyweight bout between Jon Jones and challenger Chael Sonnen. The two are opposing coaches on the current season of “The Ultimate Fighter”. The event will take place on April 27 at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey.

Bisping (23-5) comes into this fight off the second round TKO loss against Vitor Belfort earlier this month. Bisping was one win away from challenging Anderson Silva for the title, but one head kick changed all that. He is (3-2) since 2011 and will look to climb the middleweight ladder once again with a win over Belcher.

Belcher (18-7) is coming off a unanimous decision loss against Yushin Okami in his last outing. It was the second loss to Okami in Belcher’s career. He was riding a four fight winning streak going into that bout.
