The Bellator Fighting Championship promotion has a new video game entitled “MMA Onslaught”  which will debut later this summer. Bellator 71 will air for the first time ever and commercial free on the website www.gametrailers.com on Friday, June 22nd, at 6 p.m. ET to promote the new game.

Bellator 71 is set to take place at the Mountaineer Casino Racetrack & Resort in Chester, West Virginia. The quarterfinals of the Bellator Light Heavyweight tournament will take place on the card as well as the Bellator debut of heavy hitter Brett Rogers (11-4-1) as he takes on Kevin Asplund (15-1).

Bellator Chairman and CEO Bjorn Rebney spoke on promoting the new videogame with Bellator 71:

“We are taking this opportunity to dedicate an entire event to showcase our new video game, ‘MMA Onslaught’ and will substitute commercial inventory with an awesome first-look at the game,” Bellator Chairman & CEO Bjorn Rebney said. “We are confident both fight fans and gamers will enjoy our first foray into the gaming world.”

The fight card will also be streaming on Ustream, Spike.com, and Bellator.com with more outlets being announced later this week.
