ProMMAnow.com (www.prommanow.com) reporter Joe Gugelman talked with UFC welterweight contender Jake Ellenberger (27-5) on Wednesday at the TUF Live Finale open workouts in Las Vegas.

Ellenberger will face Martin Kampmann (19-5) in the TUF Live Finale main event Friday evening live on FX. Ellenberger spoke about the match-up and said although Kampmann doesn’t bring anything to the table he hasn’t dealt with before, he is still not someone you can get complacent with.

In our interview with Kampmann, he said if Ellenberger takes him to the ground that it would be a short night for “The Juggernaut”. Ellenberger responded to those comments by saying he trains with fighters better than Kampmann, but really has no intention of taking the fight to the ground, despite the fact he comes from a strong wrestling background.

Ellenberger sees his hand being raised in the end, but does not think the bout will go the full five-round distance. He also talked about what he likes to do outside the cage when he is not fighting or training.
