Hey everyone, thanks for taking the time to read my blog.  I’m about three weeks out from my fight. XFC 17 will have an amazing night of fights.  April 13th, at the Oman Arena in Jackson, Tennessee, I will be fighting Felice Herrig.

I have been working my butt off getting ready for this fight.  I have hit up a new strength training routine, which I think is working. I’m very excited to showcase my skills LIVE on HDNet.

If you are able to make it to Tennessee, you can purchase the tickets on my website at www.patriciavidonic.com. Just click on the fight poster, and don’t forget to choose me as your XFC 17 fighter. Thanks!

I never boxed, wrestled, or did any martial arts before I started MMA; I put my time in at the gym and it shows.  So Felice, when that cage door locks, you had better hope you have been training even half as hard as I have.

So for you saying that I am going to do what every other girl does; I am NOT every other girl you have ever fought.  I am getting stronger, more skilled and smarter every day. See you  in Tennessee.

This past week, Jason and I had a meeting with the director of the St. Vincent Foundation (with the hospital) to talk about working together, raising money to have a fun day every other month or so dedicated to the pediatric ward of the hospital, supporting the kids and their parents.

I am very honored to be working with the St. Vincent Foundation here in Billings.  If you are interested in my signed gear, fight clothes, walk out or signature shirts, pictures, etc., then keep your eye out for more raffles to support the St. Vincent Foundation, as well as other charitable causes. I have my eye on another great local one, stay tuned! We are so excited, thanks for all of your support!

St. Paddy’s Day was a lot of fun.  In the morning we walked downtown to watch the parade and met up with Tyson and his family.  Later in the afternoon, we had a little potluck with the fighters and their families at the gym.  Everyone had a great time playing and eating.  A little later that evening, we headed over to Tyson’s house for his daughter’s 9th B-Day party. Once again, we had a nice evening with friends. Thanks Celes and Tyson!

A couple months ago I spoke of a young lady, Cassie Lorenz from here in Billings battling Rhabdomyosarcoma; it’s muscle cancer.  Her biggest dream was to meet Justin Bieber. Myself, as well as numerous others attempted to get a hold of him or someone in his management.

No one got a response, very pathetic if you ask me.  Being diagnosed with stage four muscular cancer at age 14, Cassie, her family and friends wanted to make her dreams come true.  A lot of people joined in to help.  The students at her high school (Billings Senior High) started a fund raiser 5K run or 1 mile walk, this Saturday March 24, 2012 to raise money to send her to a Bieber concert.

Despite her proving the doctors wrong over the last three years, Cassie passed away the morning of Tuesday March 13th.  This is a sad time in the community, my deepest condolences go out to all of her friends and family.

However, Cassie’s fundraiser walk in still on, the proceeds will go to her family for her medical/hospital bills.  Hope to see all of you local Billings folks out at Pioneer Park at 9 a.m. Saturday morning!  Pre-Register at the gym anytime Monday-Friday 6-9 p.m.  Thanks for your support!
