Welterweight contenders Josh Koscheck and Carlos Condit will clash at UFC 143 on Feb. 4 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Condit confirmed the bout via his Twitter account early Monday morning saying, “UFC 143 Vegas Feb. 4 signed. :) look who I get to beat down!!!” and then posting a link to a photo of the bout agreement.

UFC fans will recall Condit had been granted a title shot at 170-pound champ Georges St-Pierre but was pulled from the bout after Nick Diaz defeated B.J. Penn in such dominant fashion that everyone immediately insisted he get the shot with St-Pierre, including the champ himself.

Condit has won his last four bouts inside the Octagon, including his last three by knockout. Condit’s most recent victims include Dan Hardy at UFC 120 and Dong Hyun Kim at UFC 132, both first round knockouts.

Koscheck just fought for the title last December, losing a unanimous decision to St-Pierre at UFC 124. Since then, Koscheck has fought once, knocking out UFC Hall of Famer Matt Hughes at UFC 135 in September.
