CHINA — In the Legend Fighting Championship 5 main event, 24-year-old South Korean Bae Myung Ho defeated 24-year-old Rod MacSwain of New Zealand via unanimous decision for the Legend Welterweight Title (77 kg/170 lbs) on Saturday, July 16, at the City of Dreams* in Cotai, Macau.
The sold-out crowd saw Bae use his superior strength to take down, control, ground and pound and batter MacSwain for much of the 15 minutes. Bae took little punishment in return and thanked his fans after the bout:
“I am happy that I could put on a good show. I was never hit and I was never scared.”
In the co-main event, 29-year-old Yao Honggang of China defeated 20-year-old Jo Nam Jin of South Korea via unanimous decision for the inaugural Legend Bantamweight Title (61 kg/135 lbs).
