Nevada State Athletic Commission (NSAC) Executive Director Keith Kizer released the live gate and ticket numbers for both, UFC 130 and the TUF 13 Finale via email to ProMMAnow.com on Monday.
On May 28, UFC 130 took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nev. The event, headlined by a light heavyweight match-up between Quinton “Rampage” Jackson vs. Matt Hamill, sold 7,470 tickets and brought in a live gate of $2,577,250.
In addition, a whopping total of 5,283 tickets were given away free as comps. And still, there remained 1,161 tickets left unsold.
On June 4, the TUF 13 Finale, headlined by a welterweight match-up between Ultimate Fighter tournament finalists Tony Ferguson vs. Ramsey Nijem, took place at The Pearl inside the Palms Casino Resort in Las Vegas.
The event brought in a live gate of $440,150 with 1,583 tickets sold. There were 107 tickets left unsold and 452 tickets were given away free as comps.
