FightHubTV talks with rising female MMA talent Michele “Diablita” Gutierrez (3-1) who has an upcoming fight against Amanda LaVoy (1-4) at XFO 39 this Friday, May 13, at the Sears Centre Arena in Hoffman Estates, Ill.
Gutierrez discusses her involvement with the new mixed martial arts video game Supremacy MMA. She explains the details of her character in the game and how the story line surrounding her character is based on her real life.
Gutierrez, a Las Vegas resident, explains her reasons for recently changing camps from Wanderlei Silva‘s gym to Throwdown Training Center, the gym where she first started her training.
Gutierrez is now training under Tony Fryklund and is very happy with her progression under the UFC and Strikeforce veteran.
Apparently Gutierrez is the only female fighter currently in her gym and she explains the pros and cons of that situation. She also hopes more girls will start coming to Throwdown now that she is there.
