MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — “SportFight X: Middle Tennessee Mayhem” took place Saturday night, Jan. 29, at MTSU’s Murphy Center in Murfreesboro, Tenn. The event was headlined by a lightweight bout between Zach Underwood and Matt Traylor that saw Underwood walk away with a close split decision win.

In the co-main event, Scott Barrett took out TUF 10 heavyweight veteran Mike Wessel via first round TKO, and in a middleweight bout that saw Eric Slocum come in several pounds over, Jeremiah Riggs took home the majority decision victory.

NOTE: Stephen Wilhite was scheduled to face Ryan Weiker, but right before the event was to begin, Weiker passed out backstage. Greg Taylor took the fight on just a couple hours notice after his fight with Tyler Smith was cancelled.

  1. Thanks for the photos. It was a great night. Little suprised at the crowd(or lack there of). It was an awesomes night for Triad. All 3 fighters won and won big. GO TRIAD!!!!!
