WEC lightweight Danny Castillo (10-3) has made the post-merger transition to the UFC.
Castillo confirmed the news with ProMMAnow.com, verifying that he signed a four-fight deal.
During his time in the WEC, Castillo went 5-3 and is currently riding a two-fight win streak. Most recently, he defeated Will Kerr by first round TKO at WEC 53, the Zuffa-owned promotion’s final show.
Castillo trains at Team Alpha Male alongside the likes of Urijah Faber, Chad Mendes, and Joseph Benavidez.
