We all know former UFC Middleweight champion Rich Franklin.  We have all seen his tireless work ethic, his tough fights in the Octagon, his most recent first-round KO victory over Chuck Liddell, and many people have already seen him on the cover of this month’s issue of Muscle and Fitness.

However, what you likely have not seen is Rich Franklin grappling. At a recent massive in-house tournament at the JG MMA Academy in West Chester, OH, Franklin faced off against another undefeated brown belt, Dan Doerner in one of the tournament’s superfights.

Take special notice at the beginning of the video, of Franklin’s (joking) mention of why he was not going to grapple with Dan, as well as the reason Franklin is undefeated in grappling.

Franklin returns to the MMA world on February 5, 2011 to face former UFC Light Heavyweight champion Forrest Griffin at UFC 126.
