Dana White confirms Jake Shields will get next shot at St-Pierre’s title, talks Overeem and dumps on Strikeforce

Ariel Helwani speaks to UFC President Dana White after a big night of fights at UFC 124 at the Bell Centre in Montreal. White discusses a potential Anderson Silva vs. Georges St-Pierre fight and confirms Jake Shields will get the next shot at St-Pierre’s title.

White says Stefan Struve’s win puts him in the mix with Shane Carwin, Brock Lesnar and the other heavyweight top contenders. He reveals why Jim Miller wasn’t on the Countdown show and explains in his mind why he has not got a title shot.

White also responds to Alistair Overeem’s K-1 World Grand Prix victory. White seems unimpressed, says it is still no reason to rank him in the MMA top-10 and says Strikeforce’s Henderson vs. Babalu card in St. Louis earlier this month was full of mis-matches and that is why there were so many knockouts.
