Maximum Fighting Championship‘s “MFC 26: Retribution” took place Friday night at the River Cree Resort and Casino in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The videos for each of the fights can be found below.
The first must-see fight is Antonio McKee‘s vicious destruction of Luciano Azevedo. What made this fight so intriguing was McKee, a wrestler who is known for winning but grinding fights out to a decision, said if he did not finish Azevedo, he would retire. McKee put his title and career on the line and finished the fight in dynamic fashion.
Another must-see fight is David Heath vs. Solomon Hutcherson. These two guys used their impressive striking and stood toe-to-toe. Heath’s second round knockout via Superman punch was absolutely beautiful to behold.
Dwayne Lewis‘s first round knockout of Mike Nickels and Douglas Lima‘s submission of Ryan Ford are also definitely worth a watch. Heck, just watch them all (just be warned, the Jesse Taylor vs. Tom Watson fight is a three-round grinder).
