“I’m just the baddest n*gg* on the planet”

To say that Antonio McKee (24-3-2) is confident or even cocky would be an understatement. He’s taken the notion of “believing in yourself” to a whole new level. In fact, he has said if he does not finish his opponent Luciano Azevedo (16-8), or even looks bad winning, he will retire.

McKee faces Azevedo in tonight’s co-main event at “MFC 26: Retribution” in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.

McKee said he is out to put on a show tonight and wants to teach Azevedo a lesson, who he claims has called him “old” and “senile”. Eighteen of McKee’s 24 wins have come via decision and he’s taken a lot of criticism for his wrestling style of fighting. It’s possibly one of the reasons he’s never fought in the UFC.

McKee seems determined to change his style to become more exciting and says he’s going to stand in the pocket against Azevedo and bang it out. Is this a mistake against the only fighter who holds a win over WEC featherweight champ Jose Aldo? We shall find out.
