Tito Ortiz talks at the UFC 106 post-fight press conference about his performance against Forrest Griffin, and how he felt he won the fight. He also couldn’t believe Koscheck vs. Johnson got “Fight of the Night.” Ortiz would like a rematch with Griffin, and says his future is in Dana’s hands.
Ortiz goes on to say maybe he bit off more than he could chew and possibly came back too quickly after surgery. He wanted a “warm up” fight in his first fight back, and that fight turned out to be against Griffin who is ranked number five in the world. Despite all that, he still feels he’s “breaking records” by coming back so quickly after such a serious surgery.
