Former Heisman Trophy winner, NFL Star, and now Strikeforce heavyweight fighter Herschel Walker was a guest on ESPN’s First Take Tuesday morning to talk about his decision to try his hand in MMA. The 47-year-old who just recently signed with Strikeforce is legendary for his football skills and his workouts which consist almost entirely of calisthenics and bodyweight exercises. Walker has stated that he does 2,500 sit-ups and 1,500 push-ups every morning and has done so since high school.

Interestingly enough in the video Walker doesn’t mention one word about Strikeforce but instead spends the most time talking about UFC President Dana White. Walker also makes the somewhat humorous statement that he would beat any of TUF season ten heavyweights. I’ll take Justin Wren over Walker right now.
