Amsterdam, Holland — If the M-1 Challenge regular season ended today, Raymond Jarman’s first round knockout of Ivan Ivanov would likely win the promotion’s “Knockout of the Year” award. That’s saying a lot in a season that has included a plethora of fantastic finishes, most notably Herbert “Whisper” Goodman’s come-from-behind last second KO earlier in the year.

And while Jarman’s finish occurred much earlier in his fight than Goodman’s, the sheer athleticism featured in his flying knee strike delivered onto Ivanov separates the two.

The Jarman vs. Ivanov fight will be one of a best-of-five series between Group C rivals Team Benelux and Team Bulgaria featured during Friday’s brand new episode of the M-1 Challenge on HDNet at 8 p.m. ET.

In addition to Jarman vs. Ivanov, viewers will also be treated to fights featuring former UFC competitor Jordan Radev as well as heavyweight prospect Jessie Gibbs, who will make his Affliction/M-1 Global debut next Saturday at “Trilogy” in an undercard bout against Rob Broughton.

Watch this Friday at 8 p.m. ET as Benelux looks to rebound from its opening season upset against Team Finland while Bulgaria tries to redeem itself follow its 5-0 loss to USA East this past March.
