Originally supposed to debut on UFC Fight Night 18, Ronnys Torres was once again forced off a UFC card due to injury. The undisclosed injury will keep the Nova Uniao product out of UFC Fight Night 19, but it also opens the door for UFC veteran Justin Buchholz.
Buchholz will step in to fight Jeremy Stephens. Last time out the Sacramento native was submitted by Terry Etim. He will look to improve upon his 1-2 UFC record, with the lone win coming against Corey Hill.
The always entertaining Jeremy Stephens has dropped two straight fights since adding a knockout of Rafael dos Anjos to his highlight reel. UFC victories over Diego Saraiva and Cole Miller also stand out on the Lil’ Heathen’s resume.
