This week we take a look at the 1993 NCAA 177-pound final match between Kevin Randleman and Corey Olson. While at Ohio State, “The Moster” captured back-to-back NCAA titles in 1992 and 1993. He had the chance to come back to school for a third straight title, but he chose to move on.

Randleman was considered one of the most dynamic wrestlers in Ohio State history and was inducted into their Hall of Fame in 2004. After his wrestling career, Randleman decided to turn to MMA along side his friend Mark Coleman. Together the Hammer House duo were some of the very first dominant wrestlers. He won the UFC Heavyweight Championship in November 1999. This weekend he makes his first return to MMA on US soil since 2006 when he takes on Mike Whitehead at “Strikeforce: Lawler vs. Shields”.
