Palace Fighting Championship’s “PFC 13: Validation” took place Friday night, May 8th in Lemoore, California at the Tachi Palace Hotel and Casino and PRO MMA ( has the results.

Carlo Prater defeated Dominique Robinson by a hard fought unanimous decision to take home the PFC Lightweight Title and Kyle Pimental stopped Olaf Alfonso with a cut in the third round for the PFC Welterweight Title.

In the main event Doug “The Rhino” Marshall rocked Jaime Jara with a high kick followed by knees to the body in round one. In round two “The Rhino” cut Jara with an elbow. Jara took Marshall down near the end of the round and landed a couple of punches before the bell sounded. Round three was very close with Marshall escaping two close submissions. In the end Marshall walked away with the split decision victory. Three rounds were definitely not enough for the PFC fans.

Submission and knockout of the night for what could be the first time in history has to go to the same person. Eddie Yagin threw a big over-hand right that appeared to knock out Casey Olson. Olson dropped to the canvas and the impact seemingly woke him up. At that point Yagin threw on a guillotine causing Olson to tap out. That over-hand right had to bring flashbacks to John Hackleman and Chuck Liddell who were in Olson’s corner. Keep an eye on Yagin.
