Vince

SENILE? INSANE? POWER HUNGRY? – Yes to all!

The WWE has gotten worse since Vince has gotten older. He has lost touch with reality to the point that the confiscation of signs has become a mainstay.

Believe it or not, a fan’s sign that read, “I could Be Home Watching Nitro… for $9.99” was removed by security at last night’s WWE RAW in Des Moines. You cold clearly see the sign at some points during the show. That same fan holding the sign was approached by security for other signs  – and never returned to his seat after the second visit!  Three people close to PMN reported the same.

One of the things that made WCW stand out was fan participation. They could say whatever they wanted and the WCW brass would not care. They even allowed fans to pelt the ring with all sorts of trash and food. The WWE has decided rather than focus on modern storytelling on TV they should confiscate a sign that was half advertising the WWE Network.  Vince is insane.

Check out the fan in question’s Reddit post. This is absurd.

“So tonight in Des Moines Iowa I was having fun being a fan of the product and holding up 2 different signs. One said I’d rather be at home watching Nitro for $9.99. the other said Raw is RAGElife. Around 9pm a skinny whit male with a black polo shirt with the WWE logo asked me for the sign. I asked which one. He took the Raw is RAGElife and left. A few minutes later he came back and asked for the other signs. Next to him was a huge black male in a suit with a wwe lapel pin. I tossed the sign reddit wanted me to make. And then was told to leave the arena. I refused and the as threatened with arrest After a few minutes I went with them to the vending area where 5 men I suits surrounded me trying to arrest me for a sign an being someone the WWE didn’t like. I begged them to bring the police so I could he arrested and they wouldn’t bring them. After 5 maybe 10 minutes of the bullshit I left left to my own will because I was tired of the shit. Fuck WWE Vince McMahon and everyone involved. They also took the person next to me sign that said Cena it’s time for a heel turn. Incredible…”

There have been many criticisms of the WWE, but none more vocalized than the terrible and inconsistent story lines. Last night former WWE star Matt Hardy took to Twitter to air his opinions on RAW.

“Just flipped on #WWE #RAW.. I’m intrigued by this version of the 4 Horsemen on the Highlight Reel tonight.”

“I love #WWE & respect the company. WWE gave me SO much-But it drives me crazy when they insult viewers by force-feeding them absurd stories.”

“If pro wrestling wants to be taken seriously, it has 2 be presented as fun, yet logical, to the viewer. That goes 4 EVERY wrestling company.”

“TV’s advanced so much in terms of sophisticated storytelling. Wrestling hasn’t &viewers see thru it.”

“I LOVE pro wrestling. In 2014, w/ shows like Breaking Bad, Walking Dead, True Detective etc, wrestling storytelling on TV has gotta step up.”

“i.e. Walking Dead is outrageous fiction, but consistent & has continuity within its parameters. Viewers lose themselves in the WD universe.”

“WD stays in the parameters of it’s created universe, suspending a viewer’s disbelief. Wrestling should strive 2.”

Do you agree with Matt?
