Are you not entertained? What a better way to set the pace than to get a quick finish in the opening fight of the UFC 170 main card. Stephen Thompson did just that as he looked amazing against Robert Whittaker.

The fight started off as both men wasted no time trying to get to work. Thompson was mixing up his striking and was able to catch Whittaker. A right hand dropped Whittaker and “Wonderboy” went in to land a few shots before the referee stepped in to call the fight to an end.

Thompson told Joe Rogan that he was getting more comfortable as he progressed. “I’m a striker. That’s who I am” said Thompson following the win. The first round finish moves Thompson’s winning streak to three.
