WSOF-2Six-time world champion Ray Sefo and current World Series of Fighting No. 1 welterweight contender Josh Burkman, one of the hottest stars in all of mixed martial arts, will headline this weekend’s World Series of Fighting Fan Fest on Saturday, July 20, in Ontario, Calif.

The first-ever World Series of Fighting Fan Fest, which serves as the official kick off to festivities associated with August’s “World Series of Fighting 4: Spong vs. DeAnda” event, runs from noon to 4 p.m. at Dave & Buster’s in Ontario, located at 4821 Mills Circle.

Included in the World Series of Fighting Fan Fest will be a meet-and-greet autograph session with, among others, Sefo, a two-time hall of famer, and Burkman, who’s coming off a stunning first-round submission of perennial welterweight contender Jon Fitch.

The Fan Fest also will feature World Series of Fighting training and demonstrations session, photo opportunities with the World Series of Fighting ring girls and other World Series of Fighting athletes, ticket giveaways for “World Series of Fighting 4: Spong vs. DeAnda,” a punching machine competition and the grand prize of a Boost Mobile phone plus two cageside tickets for World Series of Fighting 4.

The NBC Sports Network-televised World Series of Fighting 4 card takes place Aug. 10 at Citizens Business Bank Arena in Ontario, Calif., and features a light heavyweight showdown between world kickboxing champion turned unbeaten MMA upstart Tyrone “King of the Ring” Spong and fellow hard-hitting knockout artist Angel “The Dream” DeAnda.

Tickets for the huge, 10-fight event start at just $29 and are on sale at AXS.com, the Citizens Business Bank Arena box office and charge-by-phone at (888) 929-7849.
