[ads2]rampage jacksonThe former UFC light heavyweight champ Quinton “Rampage” Jackson has been relatively quiet since parting ways with the UFC after his unanimous decision loss against Glover Teixeira in January.

It was his third consecutive loss in the UFC, including losses to Ryan Bader and UFC champ Jon Jones. However, Jackson hinted at a possible fight in the near future via his Twitter account:

ONE FC President Vitor Cui re-tweeted Jackson stating he looked forward to seeing Jackson soon, but the tweet has since been taken down. There are two other possibilities for Jackson other than the Asian based ONE FC. That would be the World Series of Fighting promotion headed up by Ray Sefo, and the Bellator MMA promotion headed up by Bjorn Rebney.

In all likelihood, I can’t see Jackson going over to Bellator because of the price tag and the fact that he lost his last three fights in the UFC fairly convincingly. I could possibly see him going over to WSOF, but the ONE FC promotion is certainly a possibility with Jackson having fought overseas in the past during his PRIDE days.

Jackson will be 35 years old in a couple of weeks, so the sand is quickly leaving the hourglass. It’ll be interesting to see where he ends up. I also can’t rule out him returning to the UFC, albeit would be for less money that he was previously making. Despite his supposedly dislike for Dana White, money talks, and we all know we can’t take everything Jackson says seriously all the time.
