A new bout has been added to the UFC on FOX 8 card as Liz Carmouche (8-3) faces Jessica Andrade (9-2) in a women’s bantamweight matchup. The event is set to take place at the KeyArena in Seattle, Wash., on July 27.

UFC officials announced the fight earlier today.

UFC on FOX 8 will feature a headline bout between current UFC flyweight champion Demetrious Johnson and title challenger John Moraga. The main card will air LIVE on FOX with the prelims expected to air on FX and Facebook.

Liz Carmouche last fought at UFC 157 in February, where she dropped a first round armbar submission loss against current UFC women’s bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey. Prior to that she had been on a two fight winning streak, defeating both Ashleigh Curry and Kaitlin Young during 2012. Carmouche now has the chance to bounce back into the win column with a good performance against Andrade.

Brazilian native Jessica Andrade is currently riding a two fight winning streak, most recently defeating Milana Dudieva via second round submission at ProFC 47 in April. Prior to that she scored a second round submission victory over Luciana dos Passos Pereira at WFC in January. That win followed a unanimous decision loss to Jennifer Maia at Samurai FC 9 in December 2012. Andrade will no doubt look to win impressively in her octagon debut in July.
