The UFC had added two more additions to the UFC on FUEL TV 1 event that will take place on February 15 in Omaha, Nebraska. TUF 14 finalist TJ Dillashaw will lock horns with Walel Watson in a bantamweight bout. Also, TUF 12 winner Jonathan Brookins will face Vagner Rocha in a featherweight bout.
Dillashaw (4-1) is coming off the devastating KO loss at the hands of TUF 14 winner John Dodson at the TUF 14 Finale. It was his first career defeat and he’ll be looking to rebound as he faces Walel Watson (9-3) who is also coming off a split decision loss to Yves Jabouin this past December. Watson was victorious in his UFC debut as he put Joseph Sandoval away via TKO this past October.
Jonathan Brookins (12-4) is coming off his first UFC loss against Erik Koch which took place this past September. It was his first fight at featherweight since winning season 12 of TUF as a lightweight. He’ll be facing Vagner Rocha (7-2) who is stepping in for the injured Rani Yahya after being pulled from the UFC on FX show when his opponent Mike Brown went down with an injury. Rocha has a UFC record of (1-1) but is coming off a submission win against another TUF alum in Cody McKenzie this past June.
